Still life

Still life or perhaps product shot. Haven't had any models to shoot with in a while and I needed to try out my AB800 with the soft box that came today and the radio slave trigger. Post yours if you have any.
Shot at f/5.6 and 1/200 of a second at less than 1/4 power.

I was trying different BG lighting on these two.....


Canon Rebel xt 70-200 f4L
Shoot withAB800 in softbox
Background: Sunpak flash with blue celofane filter bounced on black foamcore
NO PS except resizing

Not as hot as your usual fare, but I know what you mean about trying out new equipment.

I like the softbox catchlight in the model's ( camera's) lenses.

You are so right about that one. Not as hot as what we usually try to photograph, but it was an ok alternative. I didn't notice the softbox relections in the camera lense until I saw it on the computer screen. Next I need to get some models to work with.
