Black and White

Shot in B&W Mode. Ajusted the levels a bit. A little Sepia. She's a great person to work with.

Re: Black and White

To me the face looks a little too dark, especially with the lighter background areas. I find the cropping a bit too tight for my taste. Black and White is always tricky, and I usually find you can do more with it by doing a conversion in Photoshop rather than in the camera.

cheers,
rfs

Hmm, well, I think I see what you're going for here, and if I'm thinking what you're thinking, than you done good, heh heh. However, I think this photo requires more than just posting it and lettin' it go, sooooo..... what exactly was your goal with this image? Answering that might help with critiquing it.

Sam

P.S.: Your username is filmtony, and yet you shot in B&W mode? As in, shot with a digital camera??? Shame on you!!! Just messin', I do it too. Re: Black and White

I do like the overall effect, although I will agree it seems a little too dark JMO. I do love the way the eyes pop out, very piercing effect.
