Help! I need a new website host!

Adaptive.net has been my host for a couple of years but they have '0' (zero) customer service! They may answer one out of ever 30 emails that you send to support, they have no telephone support and the live chat support is just a joke.

I have been trying for weeks to get a permission set on a folder to run a cgi script and have had no luck. (permissions must be set by adaptive.net)

I really could use some advice on who to have host my website.

I'm using ix Web Hosting and have been completely happy with the service and pricing. They upgraded there bandwidth and storage allowances on the hosting plan I was using and upgraded me automatically. I haven't even needed tech support for over a year now but they get excellent reviews. My site's never been down that I know of. It's kinda nice that I rarely even have to think about site hosting, it just works.

I use Brinkster.com. They have pretty good CS and offer live chat which has resolved issues for me quickly and in real time. AND they are having a hosting special throgh the end of the month (50% off).
