Not really. I thought I would go for the oldest model posted (85) and the only that went through the Japanese occupation of Manila.

Exquisite! There have been many photographs on this website that have caused me to stop and ponder. I am continually humbled by both those of us that can, and those of us that try. However, this is the first photograph to make me want to stop, fold my hands and attempt to reach into the mind of the subject. Thank you for your post, your ability to capture not only a truly dynamic image, but one that displays the defining events of a lifetime stuns me. How appropriate to post this portrait at this time of year. Lots of us are wishing Merry Christmas to one another. I sense the lady in your post is thinking and taking that wish even deeper toâ€¦

Thanks for the words of encouragement...they give me a reason to continue doing what I love to do (portrait photography)! I leave Thursday to be with my 90 year old father living in Oregon. Be back after the holidays...

Only one, but it is nearly the same pose. Got the shots after she sat next to the window for her morning coffee and my wife liked the lighting. Please keep it to yourself Chip that this was taken with a Casio camera. I might be kicked out of GG! Thanks again, Jim
