Well, this whole shopping for women's clothes thing is beyond my comprehension.

Can anyone tell me what kind of store you visit to purchase elbow length satin gloves in black and red?

I realize they can probably be ordered over the internet, but I need them for a shoot tomorrow so that won't be a possibility at this point.

I'd try a formalwear store or bridal shop.

Try you local costume shop. That is where I got mine for a shoot I did a while ago.

Or you can make a trip to the mall, I know thats a pain but here in cali they have a store called Claires which sells all kinds of things one being gloves. Good luck.

Thanks for the suggestion Kori. I actually had looked up Claire's on the web because I remembered seeing them in a mail and thought it would be cute if they had a web site because they could call it e-claires, but I digress. The only thing I saw on their web site was white gloves. I guess I will have to try an actual visit if the costume shop doesn't pan out. I just hate to go into those places alone. I am always afraid someone will think I am a cross dresser and then sue me because of the pain and anguish that visual would inevitably cause. [img]/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif[/img]

I will have to try those two out. I know The Red Door has some great stuff on their web site, but a model I am shooting next week said they didn't have any of the nice stuff from the web site in the store. I guess I will have to check it out for myself.
