Whadya mean,...all you had ta do was back up a cpl ft

Every time I backed up, she moved forward, I was up to my knees in ocean water at one point, gettin my pants wet, tryin to keep movin. And all the best ones have a toe or finger cut off! I was trying not to break her rythym and movements as she walked or kicked or jumped.
Drag racing is easier to shoot than people moving!
Hey Dave, I've cut off plenty of fingers and toes. While the lighting and model are very nice, i'd have liked to have seen a more playful expression on her face. She looks like she's saying "Like this?" And as for those arty parts photos, keep em coming to.
Her foot looks more focussed than her eyes...you're right. So, how do people do this while still having it look like action, have the background be out of focus, the model crisp, and not have her fall over while trying to balance on one foot faking it? Shoot 100 photos and hope for 5 good ones?
No you don't. At least not at photography. Now opinions.... LOL
Seriously, what lens are you using on what camera?
With digital I find I can frame a bit more openly (Rolando thinks its sloppy) but I don't lose toes and I can crop out what I don't want and still have a printable image. Especially with action shots.
