Little twist at Galmour shoot Atlanta - Glamour 1™ Putting the Glamour Back in Photography!

After the long comparison between fashion shooters and glamour photographers,...lol... I just had to put a little twist on the glamour shoot techniqe and shot this head shot of model Katie with Rolando's new softbox attachment to his ring light.
The original is very clean....watermarks give this download a muddylook

Hi! Great to see some of the shots from last weekend online already. My wife had to pull me off the computer both Saturday and Sunday nights after getting home from shooting. I remember seeing (Katie?) with the whole "Mother Nature" thing going on with her hair coming back from the dressing area but didn't get to see you shoot this shot - wish I had. Great effect.

I did something like it a few months ago, but just with rose peddles and a baby pool. Was wanting to try it again using yellow roses. I love the colors you used!

It's rose 'petals', which sounds the same as peddles, and reminded me of an old joke from when I was a young man in England: To a girl, 'You eyes are like petals. Bicycle pedals'. It was funny 20 years ago. Once, I think.

Lovely shot. She'd even look good surrounded by peddlers peddling bicycle pedals.

The Atlanta Workshop was my first ever. I tell you guys there was so much to absorb. Saturday, after the photo shoot, I went home and stayed up until 4:00am looking at my shoot and other people's glamour shoot to check whether I took at the wrong angle, too much cropping, not enough in frame, etc. You guys are a great bunch. See some of you in Philadelphia, and Virgin Island 2006.
