Here is a photo of model Cherie Lee that was shot with Glamour style lighting.
Rolando...after all that talk about fashion photographers...you may have won me over to a new style...lol
I will be incorporating some of the techniques in my fashion shoots and try to bridge the gap between fashion and glamour.
Thanks to Cherie, Rolando, and Cynthia (for the use of the best studio room around)

bridge the gap between fashion and glamour

Would someone please explain the gap...without starting Glam war III?
too many casualties!! so far...Im guessing fashion is with clothes on..Glamour is about the Bit and Pieces??
Fashion is about the product, be it clothing, shoes, hat, mascara, whatever. It's about the cut, the style, the texture, the color. With fashion the model, surroundings, lighting, and composition are chosen to complement the product. The image is constructed to communicate a sense of attitude, hip-ness, style, sex-appeal, etc. An effective fashion image sells the product.
Glamour is about the model, male or female. With glamour, the clothing, surroundings, etc. are chosen to complement him or her. Glamour also conveys attitude, style, sex-appeal, and what have you, but you're selling the face, the body, and the desirability of your subject.
You can make up your own mind where the lines cross. Gorgeous models will help sell a lot of product, and hip, trendy, products will sell images of gorgeous models.
I guess you learn something NEW everyday. The word 'boobies' is a very unprofessional way of describing someone's body parts. For your information, BOOBIES are used as TRAPS in times of war.
