Can a newbie critique an image by a seasoned professional?

I was telling you and everyone else here why I didn't think it was good commercial headshot and still a beautiful image. Everything I told you that was wrong with the shot are what I consider to be technically wrong. But, what I consider to technically wrong with the shot also make it come together to create a great image. I was trying to pay you and the image a compliment and let others see why it wasn't a good commercial headshot (in my opinion) but still a great image (once again my opinion).
