Your shot works for me. One thing I'd do differently would be to light up the gun better.

Thanks David... Guns can be fun but I think it has to be done right for it to work... I am not saying I did it right though.

If you got the image you were after then I'd say you did it right. Photography is subjective. I tried to share what I would have liked but that in no way takes away from the photo you imagined and you executed.
