Photography and addiction (multi image call for help)

The trick, I've found, is to go right ahead and shoot. If you find yourself thinking you're shooting the same thing too much, stop right where you are, and drastically change something. I'm finding myself shooting dark and heavily shadowed images, so this Friday I'm headed into the great outdoors to shoot. When I find myself in the middle of a shoot and things feel static, I'll switch the lights around and jump up on a chair, or sit on the floor, or do something else to force myself to look at exactly the same thing from a different perspective.
And don't fool yourself, even the best shooters on the board have plenty of dreck in their history...
It still boils down to not shooting enough!

I knew you'd probably get it! I feel like I started to touch on something with that sunglasses image...heck, it even got a dance out of you....and that is sayin something! But, it was there for a moment...and....gone!

It's funny...you may get this too....my wife is my harshest critic...I can't put one past her...she calls me on everything and tells me "you had a good idea...but why'd you do that?" and she even loved that one...but damn if I just haven't let myself get bored with everything else I shot last week now.

Anyway, I need some pepto to cure the diarrhea of the keyboard and camera I got.

Ya, I'm not cancelling my next two shoots due to "creative....stagnation" that's for sure...so shooting through the stagnation and doing what you suggest may be my choice...but I may also just go to the park early one morning and breathe in the dew and air!

Seriously...the unfulfilled thing...ya...that's me! It's been a curse in everything I do in life...I work toward a goal...get to it...and look around and say...ooookay....now what?

Nope because everything your doing...you're doing successfully....I'm having the same condundrum myself....I feel like all my stuff is same ol same ol and I really dont know where to go from here...but I keep screwing up the same ol same ol...so I'm not ready to move on yet....I keep screwing up the simple basic things.... as far as you sir...Honestly its time for you to move on to something new..

It can be more addictive than cocaine or heroin ever thought about being. I have not done a shot of any sort for about 4 weeks and I'm beginning to climb the walls. I'm even beginning to think about going out and shooting some landscapes!

Any models put there in or around Atlanta, I need a fix - contact me? Pleese? Before I have to go out and do night shots of traffic on Peachtree St, the ultimate cliche.
