you wanna talk 'outside your comfort zone'?

These were done at the end of a regular, commercial headshot thing. The young man in question is a personal trainer (duh), we had like ten minutes left to shoot the other day and this is what we grabbed.

I'd be truly interested in what you and anyone else thinks of the shots. Personally getting out on the edges of my various comfort zones is the only thing that keeps my head from exploding... [img]/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cool.gif[/img]

I'm not sure I like the crop on the first one. It does sort of create an oval frame but I would have liked to see more of his hands. I like the second one. At first I did not like the white stripes on his shoes but the more I look at it, it works to define the depth.

Thanks for the input, good point about the white strips on the shoes, I hadn't even factored them in to be honest.
