She looks a little uncomfortable, like she stepped on a cow pie or something

why am I only seeing red squares? I can see some of the posts but not all?
However, love the lighting on those X's!

Don,

Pretty shot of a pretty girl

I would have used a little fill flash. There's no catch lights and you need to bring her up in the mix a little to match that gorgeous golden hairlight you have going.

A reflector would have worked, too, but if it's just you and no assistant sometimes that gets a little tricky.

Good work getting out of the studio, though. Nice location and great positioning with the light behind her.

Shannon

I would have too if I had one! lol...the on camera flash is useless to me because my lens is a tamron 28-105mm f2.8..82mm...
Thanks Shannon...sounds like a flash would make a great christmas gift!

gotta love that Xmas tree for new gear!

When you do get one let me highly recommend one of those $20.00 sto-fen diffusers. I bought one and I really can't remember the last time I took it off, especially shooting people.

Two things which I noticed when viewing the image. One breast appears much larger than the other. The way she is clutching the fabric of the dress makes her look a little heavy. I have been taught that holding the elbows away from the body makes a model look slimmer. I think pulling the fabric closer to the body and different lighting would make a good image an excellent image.

a number of times. The most fascinating things I saw were the curves in the interstate . . .both of them.
