Hi to you all,

I've been taking glamour/nude shots of models for their own porfolio , some of the shoots look really good and they have asked me is there a way of selling the sets of photographs, via website image libraries or is there other ways of selling the images. Would be greatful of any links or ideas.

cheers

gareth

...make sure you have a full release. Good intentions are wonderful and mean zip if someone says they never told you to sell anything.

The pic below was for a paint ball poster....they went like crazy. The models sold them at paint ball conventions.

There's a million ways you can go here...and depends on how much money you'd like to spend. You also need to realize people are downloading glam pics off the Net for free...so what market is really going to pay for yours?

My first inclination is posters...maybe try printing 500 or so, and market to the student crowd on various websites...something cool to hang in their dorm-room. Always test, never roll-out. If the pics are specialty (e.g. mototorcycles), try selling some posters to a bike store.

Straight sales of pretty pics aren't going to do anything. Think about the niche of the image, and determine where the market is under saturated for that niche.

Hope that helps,

Jim

PS: nice work in your port...people should check it out.
