Need a little help, I'm trying to experiment with changing the color of a background. Keep in mind, i haven't had PS very long so still learning what tools are and how to use them. I made a separate layer and used the magnetic laso tool to select the background. One problem I have, is I cant have the image zoomed in close enough to be able to follow the line the way I want. If I zoom in, you cant move the zoomed in area with out selecting points across my image. I know im doing something wrong but dont know what. You can see where the background color still shows a little along the elastic of the material draped over the shoe. It also looks like I just cut and pasted the image on a colored background, or it does to me, could be wrong though. I think it needs to blur/fade somehow, again, not that familiar with PS. I used the healing brush some on the leg to cover a couple blemishes. Looks like I did a decent job there Any help pointing me in the right direction is appreciated. btw I'm using Photoshop CS.
Thanks,
