with PS, drawing around Tara's very cool torso tattoo (a cover up, believe it or not) with magnetic lasso, select inverse and desaturate, and repeating with the inside detail. I don't know how many practical applications there are for this sort of thing, but I like knowing how to do it, and it looked pretty cool, so I thought I'd share it.
