There has to be an easier way to do this (and one that lends itself to building an action)... I want build an action to add a consistantly sized frame similar to the photo below. What I've been doing is using the image->canvas size feature and adding ~10 pixels to the width and ~60 pixels to the height. However, this requires that I eyeball the top edge and crop it. Is there some way to specify the number of pixels to add to the canvas to each side indepedently rather than just width and height?
Next I take the type tool and type in the "RONIN" logo but I also have to just center and position this by eyeballing it. Is there an easier way to center this and one that will lend itself well to being used in an action so that it will work consistantly with both portraith and landscape images? Thanks.
*edit* I just realized this doesn't show up so well on the forum but there's a white border of around ~5 pixels on the top, right, and left sides and around ~20-30 pixels along the bottom edge.
