Does anyone know the down and dirty trick to creating crisp, clean looking text with a transparant back ground in photoshop.

I've created the text in PS with a transparent BG and saved as a gif with transparency but when the graphic is displayed on my web page the edges of the text look as though they've been cut out by scissors and are not clean and crisp.

If anyone can clue me in on what I'm missing I'd much appreciated it...

Thanks,
Tim
