First halfways decent shot for school

Hey y'all,

Thought you might like to see one of the first halfways decent shots I took for school. Shot yesterday, with my D100 (I shot some on medium format on Velvia too, but I gotta wait 'til tomorrow to get those developed).





Shot with three lights on the gun (one barebulb key light w/cinefoil, one barebulb accent light w/cinefoil & orange gel, and one light w/shoot-through umbrella from the right aimed at the end of the muzzle) and one light on the background. The gun was hanging from a boom arm with fishing line (which was PSed out afterwards).

We had to recreate as closely as possible a photo we liked, so I tried recreating the cover of a gun magazine I had seen. Anyways, please lemme know what you think -- this is for a grade!!!
