Many long time GG folk may have noticed that Bruce Smith (riosun) has not been around much. Well I had a long talk with Bruce today and we shared how getting old is just plain crappy but it does beat death. Bruce has had some health issues including cataract stuff but he is on the upswing and is looking forward to Surf and Turf. I told him I might just have to drive down for that workshop just to raise a libation with him and tell stories but also to see JT, Kelly and dK not to mention a Texas legend Eddie Baute whose work I have long admired but I never met him. Anyway just to let you know Bruce is okay and he's ready to host the next Surf and Turf.
