"Lord" Thomas Patrick John Anson Litchfield died of a stroke Wednesday at Oxford.
Litchfield, a competent photographer, owed much of his success to his access to the "Royal Family" and their various hangers-on. His first snaps were of his cousin Elizabeth, also a "royal" and were confiscated for reasons unknown to me.
The well-connected Litchfield also made well-known portraits of Roman Polansky, Hockney the "Artist," Prince Charles and the late Diana. He was the 'official' photographer at highly-covered Charles-Diana wedding.
He is survived by a son and two daughters.
